Kelley has been hair dressing for 19 years now and is very proud to be the owner of Inspired By You.
After finishing her trade Certificate, Kelley spent a year working and training in barbering before heading over to the Gold Coast where she worked for Trevor West Hair Works.
When she returned to New Zealand Kelley moved to Ohope where she opened her first salon at home.
This little home based salon grew quickly and in two years time Kelley was happy to relocate to the already established salon up at Appenzell Court, Whakatane.
It is now seven years on and the salon has grown and developed significantly.
Kelley and her team regularly attend training events to keep up to date with the latest techniques and products.
Kelley's most exciting hair event to date was attending the MATRIX destination conference (2008) held in Las Vegas, where she gained hands on training from some of the worlds top celebrity hairstylists.
"To learn how the world leading hairdressers create new styles, shapes and colour effects, and then being able to apply these principals back home means we can now be the trend setters not just the followers!"
